How to Add Manual Time in WorkComposer

Complete guide for users and administrators to track work time outside the desktop application

Manual Time Tracking Made Simple

Manual time tracking in WorkComposer allows you to record work hours that weren't captured by the desktop application. This is essential for tracking activities like meetings, client calls, field work, or any work done away from your computer.

Whether you're a team member requesting time approval or an administrator adding time directly, WorkComposer makes it easy to maintain accurate time records. Add manual time entries directly from the Overview report in just a few clicks.

Project & Task Selection

If your account is configured to track time by projects and tasks, you'll also be asked to select a project and optionally a task when adding manual time. This helps organize work hours and provides better insights into how time is allocated across different projects.

4

Wait for Admin Approval

After submitting your request, your administrator will receive an email notification and can review the request in their dashboard. You'll receive an email confirmation once your administrator approves or rejects the manual time entry.

Pro Tip: Always provide clear, detailed notes with your manual time requests. This helps your administrator quickly understand and approve your entries, ensuring faster processing.
